What your child eats today builds the body — and the teeth — they will live in for life.

Growing Strong Child Nutrition Programme

You know your child should eat better. But mealtimes are a battle. Their teeth show cavities despite brushing. They are underweight, or not growing at the expected rate — and you cannot get a clear answer about why.

Dr. Bansi Parikh is both a dentist and a clinical nutritionist. She sees the connection between a child’s diet and their dental development in a way no standard paediatrician or nutritionist can. This programme is for parents who want that complete picture.

A dentist is the

Most Credible
to talk to about your child’s diet

Teeth are the most visible record of a child’s nutritional history. Enamel defects, cavity patterns, jaw development, and bite formation are all directly influenced by what a child eats from infancy through adolescence. Dr. Bansi can read a child’s dental chart as a nutritional document. That is a clinical perspective no standard nutritionist can offer.

Diet, Teeth & Bone

Calcium, phosphorus, vitamin D, and vitamin K2 specifically drive tooth mineralisation and jaw bone density. Deficiencies show in the teeth before growth charts.

Indian Children's Food

Ragi (calcium + iron), ghee (fat-soluble vitamins), dal (protein + zinc), haldi doodh (anti-inflammatory), seasonal fruits. Indian food is exceptional child nutrition food — used correctly.

Childhood Nutrition

Age-specific protein requirements, iron and zinc for cognitive development, omega-3 for brain development, fibre for gut health. Evidence-based, not trend-driven.

Picky Eating

Sensory sensitivity, food neophobia, behavioural food refusal, and the parent-child food dynamic. Evidence-based strategies that reduce mealtime conflict and expand dietary range progressively.

Here is what they are dealing with.

Every parent who comes to me has tried everything.

The results just haven’t matched the effort.
This is the most common thing I hear in a first consultation. And it is almost never a discipline problem. It is a framework problem.

Here are the people who find Total Wellness Immersion transformative:
Growth faltering has specific nutritional causes — protein adequacy, micronutrient gaps (iron, zinc, vitamin D), gut health, and caloric density. All are identifiable and addressable.
Picky eating has developmental, sensory, and behavioural components — and nutritional strategies that work around it without making food a battleground. This programme addresses all three.

This is one of the most common concerns of the Indian diaspora parent. This programme provides practical, child-friendly Indian meal strategies that work even with a busy international lifestyle.
Cavities are a nutritional problem as much as a hygiene one. Frequency of sugar exposure, acidic drinks, and low calcium-phosphorus foods in the diet are the clinical drivers — and they are all addressable.

The Mouth

A Window Into Your Child’s Future

Most programs look only at a growth chart. Dr. Bansi looks at the living record.Your child’s mouth is the “early warning system” for their entire body. A standard nutritionist sees a picky eater; Dr. Bansi sees how jaw development affects chewing. A pediatrician sees a cavity; Dr. Bansi sees the specific micronutrient gaps—like Vitamin K2 or Magnesium—that are failing to mineralize their bones and teeth.

Why this changes everything for you:

  • Beyond the Surface: We don’t just “fix” a cavity; we identify the bacterial and nutritional pathways causing it.
  • The Oral-Gut Link: We address the connection between the oral microbiome and digestive health to resolve issues like bloating or low appetite.
  • Clinical Intelligence: By reading a dental chart as a nutritional document, we identify health markers months before they show up in a standard blood panel.

This isn’t just a diet plan. It’s a clinical deep-dive into the body your child will live in for life.

FAQ

You Can Find All Answers Here

Yes — early childhood is actually the highest-impact window for nutritional intervention in terms of development. Dr. Bansi will confirm age-appropriateness in the first call and adjust all recommendations for your child's specific developmental stage. The parent consultation model means the child doesn't need to be "on a programme" — you are.

Yes — significantly. Dental caries are driven by three factors: bacteria, time, and substrate (sugar frequency). The nutritional component addresses the third factor comprehensively — reducing the frequency and quality of sugar exposure, increasing mineralising foods (calcium, phosphorus, vitamin K2), and improving salivary buffering capacity through diet. Dr. Bansi's dental training makes this a uniquely informed programme.

The programme starts from exactly where your child is — not from where they "should" be. Dr. Bansi will identify the safe foods and build nutritional adequacy within them first, while using evidence-based sensory and behavioural strategies to expand the dietary range progressively. The goal is never to force. It is to make new foods feel safe.

All consultations are with you, the parent. Dr. Bansi will guide you on what to prepare, how to present food, what to prioritise, and what to watch for. Young children do not attend or participate in calls. For teenagers, Dr. Bansi can recommend whether a joint session would be helpful.
